JYJ Gives Back 2013 (formerly Character Ed Night)
Character Ed Night 2012
JYJ Character Ed Night
Although we show character education traits daily, each year, JYJ does a night of service to benefit the community (what a great way to exhibit ALL of the character traits). During this night of service, stations are set up throughout the school where students and their families can make and create items, care packages, cards, notes and food for various organizations. Some organizations that we've worked with in the past include:
-Tammy Lynn Center: Making musical instruments for the children
-Ronald McDonald House: Making care packages for the children
-Wake County SPCA: Making chew toys and bandana's for dogs and cats
-Back Pack Buddies: Donating and collecting food
-Raleigh Rescue Mission: Making and packing lunches & snacks
-Mayfair Center: Making cards/notes for residents
-Rice & Bean Collection Project: Collecting rice & beans for refugees
Our items used for our service stations were donated from our amazing JYJ families and are greatly appreciated!
