Things I like
Here are some things & people that I like that are worth mentioning.
Things I like:
-My iPad- using this has truly simplified & organized my life both professionally and personally. I love to read, surf the web, plan, take notes, entertain, etc on this!
-Trader Joe's- It's great to work, read and play with a snack and TJ's has the best snacks, fruit and veggies. I go so often that I've actually become good friends with several the employees, who are awesome people!
-Water- that's right, just plain H2O is my usual drink!
-Cardigans- I LOVE cardigans! I would even consider wearing them as pajamas if there were a such thing.
-Technology- I am a former computer applications teacher and enjoyed teaching a computer class. Technology is amazing and forever changing.
-Music- I love music! I love to have music playing the background while I work, when students come to see me, when I exercise and the list goes on and on. My favorites are R&B, Motown, 80's Pop and some Jazz. I am also a fan of music concerts and go any time one of my favorite artists/groups is touring.
-Reading- I have always been an avid reader. Reading takes you to so many places.
-NC A&T State University- Where I went to college (undergrad). This is the school that truly made me see a deeper view into life and society and how I would best fit in and make my mark in it. I met to wonderful friends and had an extraordinary college experience that only a few can appreciate. Aggie Pride!
-JY Joyner-Great school that believes wholeheartedly that "we are a family"

-Oprah Winfrey- so inspiring to me and many others with her positive attitude. Which I try to have as well. One of my favorite quotes "Exercise Your Duty to be Happy" I saw in the O Magazine. I could just on and on about Oprah. She's one awesome lady!
